Privacy Policy

Sarvanna Foundation handles personal information collected through this website, enquiries, volunteering and donation-related communications as described below.

Information collected

We collect details you submit, such as name, email, phone number, city, volunteer interests and messages. For accepted donations, we may receive the amount, payment status, transaction reference and contact details necessary for acknowledgement, reconciliation and refunds. We may request further information where required for statutory records.

Use of information

We use information to respond to requests, coordinate programmes, manage donations and receipts, investigate payment concerns, maintain required records and secure the website. An enquiry does not automatically subscribe you to marketing. Optional communications can be declined by emailing us.

Payments

When online payments are enabled, authorised payment providers such as Razorpay may process the transaction under their own privacy policies. Payment availability depends on the live checkout. Sarvanna Foundation does not ask you to send or store full card numbers, CVV, banking passwords, PINs or OTPs through its forms or email.

Sharing and service providers

Authorised personnel and service providers supporting website hosting, forms, communications and payments may access information needed for their work. We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information to comply with legal obligations, respond to authorised requests or investigate fraud. Third-party links have their own privacy practices.

Cookies and technical data

Website services may process cookies, browser/device details, IP addresses and logs for functionality, security and performance. You can manage cookies in your browser; disabling them may affect functionality. Optional tracking, where offered, follows the website's consent controls.

Retention and security

We retain information for the purpose collected and for applicable accounting, statutory and dispute-handling requirements, then delete or anonymise it when no longer needed. We use reasonable access restrictions and safeguards; no online system offers absolute security.

Your choices and privacy concerns

Email us with the subject “Privacy request” to request access, correction, deletion or withdrawal of consent for optional processing. We may verify your identity and retain records where legally necessary. We aim to acknowledge concerns within 2 working days and respond within 30 days, subject to applicable requirements.

Children

People under 18 should have a parent or guardian contact us rather than submit their own information or make a payment. Do not submit sensitive or identifiable beneficiary records through public enquiry forms.

Updates

Changes will be published on this page with an updated date.
