Cancellation & Refund Policy

This policy applies to voluntary contributions accepted by Sarvanna Foundation. Donations support charitable work and are not purchases of goods or services.

Cancellation before payment

You may leave the payment page before completing a donation. Do not authorise a payment unless the amount and beneficiary are correct. A completed donation cannot be cancelled directly through the website.

Mistaken, duplicate or unauthorised payments

Email us as soon as possible, preferably within 7 calendar days of the transaction, with your name, amount, payment date, transaction reference and the reason for your request. Requests received later will also be considered where required by law or justified by the circumstances. Never send card numbers, CVV, PINs, OTPs or passwords.

Review and eligibility

Completed voluntary donations are generally final. Duplicate charges, incorrect amounts, technical errors and suspected unauthorised payments will be reviewed against transaction records. We aim to acknowledge requests within 2 working days and communicate a decision within 7 working days after receiving the information needed. Additional verification may be necessary. Report suspected payment fraud to your bank promptly as well.

Approved refunds and timelines

If approved, we will initiate the refund within 5 working days of approval through the original payment method. The bank or payment provider may take a further 5-10 working days to reflect the credit. Timing depends on the payment method and provider; contact us with your reference if a credit is delayed. We do not refund to unrelated third-party accounts.

Failed or pending payments

A pending debit is not proof of a successful donation. Check your bank and gateway status before retrying. Failed-transaction reversals follow your bank or payment provider's process; we can assist with tracing the transaction.

Campaign changes and recurring support

If a campaign cannot proceed as described, contact us to discuss your contribution and any applicable refund. Recurring donations are not currently offered on this website. No future automatic debit should be assumed.

Returns and exchanges

No physical goods are sold in exchange for donations, so product returns and exchanges are not applicable. This does not limit eligible refund requests or rights under applicable law.
